Silisenh Lake !!

She just wants to go somewhere. She doesn’t want to plan anything. She doesn’t even want to hear anything. Why on earth does she care about that? It’s her Birthday today!

She is supposed to start from Ggn after her office and I am supposed to pick her up from midway. She takes a bus with a midway 100km before my midway. I am waiting for her on my midway. I manage to find some tape and start decorating the car with those balloons.
I think balloons might make her happy. I am blowing the balloons and I am waiting for her. Balloons have different shapes and I have different thoughts. Me and she are two balloons. We just want to be filled with love and zeal. We want to fly together without knowing the destination. There is no destination. There is no life…where is she!

She arrives. She looks at me and she looks at those balloons. Her presence makes us all feel alive. Smile on her face gives a meaning to my balloons and my world.

We do not have dinner at the midway and we could never have it then. She doesn’t want to see the hands of the clock meeting at the car. That is a long crumbling road. She is already tired and she wants to sleep. Once again I am left alone with my thoughts. We are travelling through a deep dark forest. Our driver indicates a bunch of foxes by the road side and swears not to come this way ever again. We are 4km away from the destination when the cell phone network goes off.
I wake her up. She wakes up and she is pissed off. She doesn’t know about the network and she keeps on wondering why people don’t wish her. I keep on wondering why she is not happy!

We reach the heritage hotel. Hotel looks haunted at this hour of night. She, once again, is scared. I, once again, feel responsible.

We settle down into the room. This is a huge room. We have a marble bed. There is a beautiful painting in front. There is a TV with few good channels. The electricity cut is usual and hence we have a couple of candles. She cuts the cake and I sing b’day songs for her. We turn on TV and start to dance. We dance on the marble bed. The bed has the thickest mattress that I have ever seen. We jump as high as possible, we sing as laud as possible.

Another beautiful morning! We step out of the room to witness another portrait of nature. Another piece of art with all possible colours in it.

The lake has covered the hotel from three sides. The lake has a small stage in between. The lake has a village at the other side. The water in the lake is so silent. There is something supernatural about Lake Siligarh.

Watchman comes to tell us the story behind the stage; it is about a girl who used to live in village and a king who used to love the girl. There is this smoke coming out of the village. They are probably preparing the lunch. There is this sound of blast every once in a while. They are probably trying to fly the crows away from the fish. There is this echo every time my voices collides the mountains. They are probably trying to convey my feelings to her. Well I like the complete set up!

We run down to the lake. There is a post box, a board and a few swings. We sit on the jhoola and she starts telling me how she loves sitting in nature like this. I ask her if she can live here forever while I shall go and catch fish for us both everyday. She says she doesn’t like fish but she can live here if there is a phone network! I wonder how can she even think about phones and service providers at this moment here.

She holds my hand and we get down further. Wooden platform and many colourful boats! These boats look at us as they want to fill the lake with their colours. We can do some boating if they have a motorboat. They don’t have the driver now and we move back.

We decide to start for home now. We need to get back as soon as possible. Tomorrow is the big day and we both have not shopped till now.

Shopping!! All good things come to an end for the better ones…
